My Awesome Detailer LLC didn't start with investors or a franchise playbook. It started with one person, a passion for the craft, and a belief that vehicles in Opelika deserved better than what was available.
The Founder
Christian Turner started detailing in 2014 — not as a business venture, but because he genuinely loved the craft. For three straight years, he detailed cars all day, every day, learning the science behind paint correction, ceramic coatings, and surface protection from the ground up.
That obsessive hands-on experience became the foundation for everything that followed. By late 2017, Christian Turner went full-time and officially formed the LLC for My Awesome Detailer LLC. By 2019, he was developing and building out locations — and by 2021, had scaled the MAD standard across several dozen detailing operations.
Today, Christian Turner has helped build and grow dozens of detailing locations and been a part of hundreds more across the country. The systems, the standards, the training protocols — they all trace back to those early years of doing the work himself, one vehicle at a time.
